Labidochromis chisumulae is a species which can only be found near Chizumulu Island. It`s mainly living there in the with sediment covered parts of the intermediate zones from rocks to sand. This species doesn't become very large. The male in my aquarium is not yet full-grown, he`s about 7 cm at this moment, the females are a little smaller, about 5 to 6 cm.
Labidochromis chisumulae is a peaceful fish, it only get a bit more agressive in
mating time. As soon as mating is over,
he leaves the females alone and he doesn't really seem to care what
other fish are doing.
They will eat almost everything, but because it is also a "Mbuna",
they will mainly get feeding like spirulina or shrimp-peas mix.
